The CORFA Liaison provides a vital link between the CORFA Executive and the general membership of CORFA.  This position is either a 20% release from assigned faculty work, or a top up of 20%. It is intended to be equal to one full working day per week (7 hours).  This work is to be done in the CORFA office so that the membership will have regular access to the Association. CORFA is awarding $30,000 in Bursaries this summer!

College of the Rockies Faculty Association (CORFA) is awarding sixty (60) $500 bursaries to students to help “Open the Doors” to their education. The $500 is intended to assist with the cost of tuition and books for a course taught by a faculty association member at College of the Rockies. In order to be considered for the bursary, applicants must provide a brief written or video submission, photo, and completed application form to CORFA. Any student registering for a College of the Rockies course or program taught by a CORFA member in the 2016-2017 year where they are paying tuition will be eligible to apply for the bursary.  The form is available by clicking on the link below. CORFA AGM April 21, 2016

The CORFA Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 21, at the Cranbrook Golf Course.  As well as the important business of Elections and Policy updates, we are pleased to welcome two guests from FPSE: Terri Van Steinburg, Secretary-Treasurer, and Norman Gludovatz, Staff Representative.
